Senior Activities

Hello PRHS Swim and Dive Seniors and Parents,

We are the PRHS Swim Team Senior Committee and are currently working on Senior Night, Senior Dinner, and Senior Week, etc. for the PRHS Swim and Dive Seniors. Below are dates and deadlines for the various Senior Activities to come.

PRHS Swim Team Picture Day - Thursday, December 5th After School 2:30 - 3:30 We will be there to take a Sr. group picture that will be used for the Sr. plaque. Please try to attend.  We will also hand out fliers containing information we need each Sr. to fill out and return to us during picture day to help plan Sr. Week.

**Senior Night - Friday, January 3rd Meet at Mountain Park Aquatic Center against Brookwood 7:15 - 10: 15 pm We will be taking individual photos of each Sr. in the pool to be used on the Sr. plaque before the meet. We will be taking other photos as well to be used during a video during the end-of-year swim banquet. We will not be hosting another swim team this year for Sr. Night.

Senior Night Theme- Seniors need to come up with a theme for the night. Past themes include Mermaids and Surfers, Super Heroes, Jungle Theme, etc. The Seniors need to decide as a group what the theme will be and create their own costumes. The swim budget does not allow us to purchase costumes.

***Senior Bios - All Seniors need to submit a bio no later than Friday, December 13th to be included in the program on Sr. night.  Example bios are included below for your convenience. However, we will condense the bio as the announcer introduces each Sr. with his or her parents during the ceremony.

***You or your parent must email your bio to Susan McKnight at [email protected] as soon as possible! If you do not turn it in on time you will walk through the tunnel of swimmers to silence. Thank you! :)

Parents & Seniors - We will line up alphabetically during the diving competition on Sr. Night. Mothers will be given a rose as parents and swimmers walk together while a condensed version of the bio is read aloud by our announcer. You will stop and have a photo made with your swimmer along with the coaches under a balloon arch.

Senior Week - January 13th - 17th - Seniors will receive various gifts and treats throughout the week as our budget allows.

Senior Night Dinner: Monday Jan. 13th at The Cheesecake Factory - Mall of GA (time tbd) Please RSVP for the dinner by Friday, Dec. 20th. We will be purchasing gift cards on Dec. 24th for each Sr. planning to attend.  Upon arrival, each Sr. will receive a special menu created for our swimmers and a gift card that will cover your entree, drink, and gratuity as well as a gift certificate for a free slice of cheesecake of your choice! The coaches, athletic director, and principal are invited to attend the dinner but parents are not invited. This is for the Senior Swimmers only and they will need to get their own transportation to the Cheesecake Factory.
