CLODY MEET Volunteer Assignments

Hello Team!

The 2023 Clody Memorial Swim and Dive Invitational is coming up on December 2 @ West Gwinnett. Each team is assigned volunteer positions by the county board, which we are expected to fulfill. Volunteering at Clody has some great benefits! You don't have to pay the spectator fee AND you get access to the deck for a great view. ONLY volunteers with name badges will be permitted on deck.

MEET WORKER ASSIGNMENTS

Below are the 7 positions we need to fill. This will be first come, first serve. Please email me directly [email protected] to let me know. Further below are descriptions/expectations of each job. (No Split Shifts Allowed)

Cleanup - You will make sure the pool deck is clean of litter. (See the pool staff for supplies.) You will supply empty trash bags to the team worker coordinators of each team and remind them to keep their area clean during the meet and to make a final cleaning at the end of each session. You must remain at the pool until the deck has been cleared by the pool staff or meet director.

Timers – You will be working at the start end of the pool. You will be timing the events.
Head Timer- will act as a back-up timer. There will be a meeting held by the Referee prior to the start of the meet which you will need to attend. Listen for the announcement. At the end of the session, please return the clipboards and pencils to the scoring table. You will pick up stopwatches when you get your badge.

Photographer - Each team is permitted to have one photographer on deck. Please remember: NO photography from behind the starting end and NO flash photography at the start of the races

Thank you!
